Thank you for your well laid out genealogy site.
I have been following the Brown family that had come from Lauder Berwickshire to Haldimand County Ontario. I do notice one connection you have that I think is inaccurate. The Catherine Brown that you show as married to James Laidlaw should actually be the daughter of James Brown and Alison Henderson born 1831 07 22 in Lauder Berwickshire. I have attached the 1851 census showing James Laidlaw and Catherine Brown, living with her parents at Lauder Haugh.
Do you have a connection with the Laidlaw family? My husband is a descendant of Catherine’s sister Margaret Edington Brown.
