Hello,
I have an Abigail SKIFFE, who married Isaac MORGAN of Preston, CT on June
23, 1715. Isaac was the son of John MORGAN and Rachel DEMING, and was born
October 24, 1670. Abigail was Isaac's second wife. His first was Mary
SPALDING. Isaac and Abigail had two sons, Nathaniel and Ebenezer. Can
anyone tell me who Abigail's parents were? I believe that she is descended
from James SKIFF of Lynn and Sandwich, MA. I know that at least two of
James' sons, Nathaniel SKIFF and Stephen SKIFF, had daughters named Abigail
that fit the correct time frame, but I have not been able to verify if
either of them were married to Isaac MORGAN.
Can anyone help me?
