James A. Mancini, 68, of Elrama, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at his home. He was born April 12, 1946, in New Eagle, a son of the late James and Helen Stout Mancini. Mr. Mancini was retired as an operator at the former Elrama Power Station. He served in the 1st Calvary Division of the Army and did two continuous tours of duty during the Vietnam War. Mr. Mancini was a member of the United Methodist Church of Elrama and was a life member of Elrama Sportsman's Club, American Legion Post 613, in Finleyville, VFW Post 1409, in Monongahela, and Elrama Volunteer Fire Company.
Survinvg are his wife, Linda Stockdill Mancini;
a son, Matthew Mancini (Heather), of Finleyville;
a daughter, Carla Vickers (Rob), of Finleyville;
a step-son, Paul Ledgard (Becca), of Gardner, Kan.;
a step-daughter, Alyson Collins (Erich), of Elizabeth Township;
a sister, Barbara Fitterer (Ralph), of Elrama;
six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by
a son, James A. Mancinin Jr.; and
a sister, Carolyn Uremovich.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Memorial contributions can be made to the
United Methodist church of Elrama, P.O. Box 192, Elrama, PA 15038.
Arrangements are under the direction of KEGEL FUNERAL HOME INC., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, in Finleyville.
