My great grandfather was Jacob Call of Stony Point (circa 1820's - 1900's). His family may have come to(or returned to) Stony Point after living in New Paltz. He married Sarah Mckenzie. I know of three children Edith Call Lane, my grandmother, the wife of William Felter Lane of Haverstraw. The other children were William Call, and Anna Hull Boss. Jacob and his brother operated a business from Call's Landing in Stony Point servicing the boats going up and down the Hudson. Later in his life he may have been foreman in the Haverstraw brickyards.
