Sorry for the long delay in replying, Have had all kinds of hardware
and sofware problems. My maternal grandfather was George H.
Congdon--younger brother of LeRoy and Gertrude Congdon. Their father
was Lewis Congdon who was the first Congdon to settle in Erie county,
NY. Lewis parents were Amos and Berentha Congdon who lived in
Chautauqua county, NY. Amos was born in Washington county, NY about
1795--I think! If you have some data on the Congdons, please let me
know. If you need some facts and dates for the folks I mentioned, I'll
be happy to give you what I have.
