I see in your genealogy you list James Call as married to Anna Powers in Woodstock, Vt. I have a marriage record for an Anna Powers married to Seth Dexter in Hartford, VT living in Randolph, VT in 1802. Do you have any other information on your Anna Powers. My Anna Powers was the daughter of Anna Burch and William Powers.

Barbara D Schwartz

Bill, Thank you for the information. I have been researching my Powers
family for 20 years and still have no definite answers. Benjamin Burch
Powers, brother to my Anna had a son named Alanson as did James Call
according to your records. Its such an unusual name or maybe it was common
at that time. Anna Burch Powers, mother of Anna and Benjamin died at the
home of her son Benjamin in Pike Co, IL in 1846 at the age of 95. Woodstock
did have two Powers brothers there at one time, William and James as well as
their father Andrew. These sons were born in Greenwich, MA. I have these
birth records. I see a Joseph Call married to Mary Sanderson and Ebenezer
Call married to Elizabeth Sanderson. Are these people related to your
Sandersons. I have quite a few deeds in Quechee, part of Woodstock, for
William and Anna Powers, parents of my Anna Powers but I find nothing for
James Call and a wife Anna. I follow every lead I can find to find more
information on the Powers family. Thanks, Barbara Dexter Schwartz366
