Hi,
I just got into the Gendex index and while searching Fordice
came across your Anna Asenath Fordice, b. 1855, Montreal.

I think she might be related to my ancestor John Fordice Jr.
(d.1862) of Dunham & Frost Village, Quebec. His second wife was Asenath Stone.
One of their children was named John Lyman Fordice -- see the similar names with your family??

Have you any further info. on your Anna Asenath?

Where in 1874 did she marry John Warren Austin??

Northampton, MA

Hi Bill,
Nice to meet you. Below is what I have on my ancestor John Fordice Jr. and
his 2nd wife Asenath Stone. I am descended from his first wife Jemima Marsh.
Apparently John had 2 families at the same time!!, after Jemima died, he
married Asenath and their is a church document recognizing these adult
children. Also, you shall not Asenath Stone's mother was an Aylsworth, there
is an Aylsworth genealogy. If you can connect your Asenath to this family,
would like to know exactly how. Good luck, Brian
