!BIOGRAPHY: A letter from Mrs. Harry A. Stiles OR (1957): Andrew Austin was appointed as Justice of the Peace for sever years, dated June 30, 1836 and given by Gov. Robert Dunlap of Maine. Beside his farm he was also a surveyor. He must have been a man of more than ordinary education, for my grand mother, his daughter-in-law said he was very fond of quoting Shakespeare. In his will he left his book to his wife to be given after her death, to his daughter Lydia. Among other things in his will, he stipulated that son John who was executor, should keep at all times a suitable horse and carriage for his mother. In his will he leaves a bequest to Emily and Lydia Cole, grandchildren. So Hannah probably died before her father. His will was probated Nov. 4, 1850."
